We do offer stud service with our males. If you are interested please give us a call. We have successfully studded our males out about 20 times. Each successful breeding has produced a beautiful litter of puppies. We are very experienced and you will be quite happy with the results. We have several champion sired males that you will just fall in love with.
We are extremely fair with our breeding contract. Our stud fee is pick of the litter or the price of one puppy.
The contract ensures that your female will produce a litter of two or more puppies. If not, we give another free breeding.
In the event your female does not get pregnant you would get another free breeding. If this should happen for a second time you would get a full refund minus $200.00 for our time and effort. I do not know many breeders that give a refund. They normally have you come back over and over again. I see this as fruitless. If your female does not conceive in two different attempts she is obviously sterile or has some other issues.
We like to get the females on their 8 to 9th day of heat. They are kept in my home just as you would do. They are loved on and pampered and given the upmost of care. The new "brides to be" just love being here with my Cavaliers. They romp and play and have a grand time. In fact, quite a few owners have made the comment (when they returned to get their girl) that they didn't want to go back home. :o) We call with updates and let you know how the breeding process is progressing. When the breeding is over we will let you know when to pick up your girl. (this normally takes about a week) Breeding fee is due when she is picked up. (unless arrangements have been made for pick of litter) The contract will also be signed by both parties and you will get a copy. We are here to help you any way we can during your Cav's pregnancy and with the delivery.
Our studs are healthy and vet checked often. They have excellent confirmation, nice coats, great temperments and perfect bites. We think you will be very pleased.
We require a brucellosis test on your female. Although this disease is not common it will exterminate all future breedings. Your vet can perform this test and the results are normally back in two days. We also require a digital on your female. This will ensure that she can be bred. Your vet will be able to do this as well. Finally we need a copy of her current shot records.
